L.I.V.E. Life Inspired Views for Everyday

The Three Strategies

Kris Meyer

Tis the Season! The holiday seasons during this time of year have become some of the most wondrous and yet intense of times. Expectations are  key...nostalgia fuels expectations, traditions fuel expectations, relationships fuel expectations, hence intense. How can we maintain a perspective that will allow us to engage so we can enjoy and cherish the time and memories made? I came across an idea that, if we adopt it, can make these next weeks meaningful.

It is said that a man once told the author Mark Twain that he wished he had never read Twain's book, Huckleberry Finn. Scowling, Twain asked him why. The man smiled and replied, "So that I could have the pleasure again of reading it for the first time." Ah...a strategy for keeping wonder and positivity in all we do this season. Engage as if it were the first time.

Thanks for listening.
